This master´s thesis deals with the evaluation of employees and their personal development in the company STUDENT AGENCY, s.r.o. The current situation of this part of personnel management is evaluated on the basis of questionnaire survey among company employees. An integral part of this work are proposals and recommendations leading to increased efficiency of personnel work in the field of evaluation and employees development.

The bachelor thesis deals with career development in Tesco Stores Cr, A.S., and the subsequent proposal of measures and recommendations. The aim of the bachelor thesis is to find out the strengths and weaknesses in career planning at Tesco. In the theoretical part, literary concepts from the field of career and career management are described, and the concepts of career management from the company's point of view and career competence from the individual's point of view are also mentioned. The practical part examines career development in the company, what the possibilities are and how employees approach career devel-opment. Using the obtained results from the quantitative research, procedures and recommendations leading to the improvement of career development in the com-pany will be proposed.
Quality of working life related to human resources activities

This thesis analyses the concept of quality of working life related to human resources activities. In the theoretical part, key concepts and related terms are introduced. Then different approaches and categorisations are stated. Individual human resources activities contributing to quality of working life as introduced by Walton are described in the following subchapters. Several examples of research approaches related to quality of working life are stated as well as different means of evaluating and measuring quality of working life. The practical part consists of a research design leading to a questionnaire development measuring quality of working life according to Walton's factors, which were described in detail in the theoretical part.
Career development from the organizational perspective

The bachelor thesis introduces a topic of career development in organizational context. The aim of this work was to present the concept of career development from organizational perspective and to outline the contrast between the traditional career and the contemporary career concepts with the new psychological contract taken into consideration. The contemporary view of career also changes the organizational approach towards the career planning and career management of its employees. The major part of the thesis presents the human resources management practices which are or might be used by organizations to support the career development and growth of its employees. The empirical part of the thesis introduces a research design examining the effectivity of a developmental practice, the 360-degree feedback, regarding the job tenure of the workers in the organization. The career plateau problematics in a big organisation

The theses investigates the problematics of career plateau in a big organization. In theoretical part conceptions of career, its phases and types, possibilities for development, succes criteria, career plateuing, its types, causes and effects are described, also possible ways to handle the career plateau are discussed, on one side from individual point of view on the other side from organizational point of view. Empirical part consists of organisation's description and a research concerning the perception of individual career development and career plateauing among employees of the organization. The research includes qualitative and quantitative approach and focuses on organisational and structural plateauing. Possible practical solutions in the field of human ressources management are given.

1 Abstract The theoretical part of the bachelor thesis focuses on the definition of career from its traditional concept to the present and on the issue of career development. Attention is paid to the developmental aspects of career and the theories of career stages. An important part of the thesis is formed by the presentation of factors influencing the career development, including the personality traits and other individual factors, for example gender and age perspective, intercultural context of career development or the work-life balance. The practical part presents the research design focused on some aspects of the career of the individual (satisfaction with career, importance of further career development, expectations of future career changes) and their connection with basic demographic factors and the personality type by J.
